What is ÜRP?

ÜRP is a simple and practical robe made of the world's most comfortable fabric. Designed primarily for being comfortable at home, but also perfect for the beach or the street in summer. Wear as a robe, dress or kimono!

ÜRP was born from a longing for comfort — for something natural, breathable, and soft against the skin. Muslin is perfect for that!

ÜRP’s muslin fabric comes from Europe and meets the OEKO-TEX® standard. This means that no harmful chemicals were used in the production of the fabric. Gentle on the skin and kind to nature!

The cut of ÜRP is simple and practical, designed to suit everyone — both women and men. When creating ÜRP, I carefully calculated its length and width with the goal of using as much of the fabric as possible. That’s why ÜRP is exactly the way it is — with wide sleeves and the maximum length that can be achieved from a single roll of fabric. In making one ÜRP, only 3.1% of the fabric goes to waste.

Care instructions

All muslin ÜRPs are ready to use immediately! After completion, it has been washed and dried so that the softness, shape and style are right!

You can safely wash your ÜRP in the machine at 30 degrees. Probably nothing bad will happen even at 40 degrees...Tests have shown that even low temperature drying is ok for muslin ÜRP. What happens in the dryer is that the muslin ÜRP becomes fluffier and softer, but at the expense of this it loses a few centimeters in its length and width. Less at a low temperature, more at a crispier one... So at your own risk! 😉

Before putting it in the washing machine, be sure to remove the belt from the robe — this way the machine won’t damage the belt loops!

Muslin ÜRP doesn’t need ironing — if any wrinkles bother you, simply steam it. This way, the muslin becomes fluffy again and regains its soft, crinkled texture!

ÜRP does not bleed color, but to protect your ÜRP, always wash it together with similar-colored items.

Don’t leave ÜRP sitting sadly on its own for too long — it belongs on you!

About us

Let’s get to know each other! I’m Piret — the creator, designer, seamstress, and marketer behind ÜRP. To be even more precise, I’m also the photographer and web developer.

ÜRP is a happy accident. It began with a longing for comfort — to make being at home even more enjoyable… And if you’ve ever touched muslin in your life, you know exactly what I mean.

At first, I sewed robes for myself and my family… then for acquaintances and friends… until the idea arose — why not give it a try! Since I wanted to try my hand at web development, I built an online shop for ÜRP, ordered labels, and got a new sewing machine. Because if you don’t try, you’ll never know!

The interest has been surprisingly high and the feedback overwhelmingly positive… And here I am.

By the way — previously, all ÜRP fabrics were cut on the floor of my home and sewn together at the dining table. Now a lovely and reliable Estonian company helps me with the sewing — ÜRP has become a real product, crafted by professionals in their field.

Over time, every ÜRP has been special and a little different, but each one has been made with an immense amount of care and joy in the making!

And that joy is fueled by all those wonderful souls who have chosen to order an ÜRP for themselves! Thank you!
